Practice Overview

The Data and Analytics (D&A) Practice primarily focuses on projects related to customer data strategy, management, analytics, and measurement. The D&A team is responsible for designing, implementing, and operationalizing capabilities for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide insights that help inform business decisions. The D&A team helps companies identify opportunities for growth, optimization, and improvement to customer experiences.


Position Overview

We are seeking a highly driven, entrepreneurial data and analytics practitioner with a track record of building and delivering data, measurement, analytic, and/or related technology solutions. As a key contributor for Data & Analytics (D&A) within Transparent, a Sr. Manager must stay on top of the latest commercial measurement, analytics data strategy, and supporting technology solutions, including emerging capabilities that will allow our customers to support the next generation of the marketing function. In addition to technical analytics execution, candidates should have experience leading client projects and workstream teams, specifically understanding client needs, creating and/or identifying solutions, organizing a strategy around customer outcomes and delivering value back to our clients.  The role will work collaboratively with our Marketing Strategy & Operations and Technology teams to integrate the D&A elements into overall deliverables.

Position Qualifications
  • 4-year college degree in related field; MBA and analytics related Masters are a plus.
  • 7 years of data analytics work (such as data engineering, data science, integration, or data visualization) and/or analytics and data consulting; technical familiarity or competency in data analysis and visualization tools such as SQL, Python, Tableau, Data Studio, and related tools.
  • Strong background and relevant experience leading, managing and implementing strategies to gain business value from data.
  • Experience with configuration and implementation of marketing data, analytics, and measurement tools; experience with Customer Data Platforms is a plus.
  • Ability to lead multiple projects from planning to completion, and collaborate effectively with both internal team as well as external partners (brands, agencies and platforms).
  • Ability to quickly identify and understand broad business issues as well as the immediate urgencies that help shape the direction of strategic marketing initiatives.
  • Ability to take consultative approaches and navigate ambiguity to solve complex challenges to deliver on measurable business results.
  • Ability to clearly articulate our approach and strategic recommendations in presentations with senior leaders.
  • Ability to communicate complex topics in writing and verbally with audiences of varying understanding and backgrounds.
  • Ability to lead with excellence, demonstrating team building/management skills; ability to provide clear and concise direction/feedback to external and internal stakeholders as well as the ability to influence others.
  • Ability to effectively manage other team members by delegating work as appropriate, providing constructive feedback routinely, and creating targeted opportunities for professional development.
  • Ability to develop and execute against strategic account plans to strengthen our client partnerships and grow business relationships.
  • Ability to contribute to business growth and development by establishing relationships through trust and integrity, proactively surfacing gaps, and identifying opportunities.
  • Deliver value to the Transparent organization by applying learnings from continued education and training programs that directly improve our ways of working, processes and procedures.


Responsibility: Data Analysis & Strategic Thinking
  • Collect and document key functional requirements to achieve expected deliverables defined in project scope.
  • Assess the current state of client measurement, data, technology and analytics ecosystem.  Evaluate data platforms, identify opportunities to create new systems and analytics to drive ROI.  Formulate findings into client deliverables with analysis and meaningful implications.
  • Build a gap analysis that outlines opportunities that exist and recommend a path towards a solution, including continuation of services over time.

  • Be a subject matter expert on modern marketing measurement, analytics, data strategy, and supporting technology.


Responsibility: Deliverable Build
  • Understand client needs to plan deliverable development.
  • Delegate project delivery responsibilities to team members, including oneself
  • Translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
  • Develop and configure data, analytics, and measurement tools.
  • Execute analyses and measurement efforts.
  • Interpret analyses and measurement results, generating actionable insights.
  • Contribute to final deliverable creation in collaboration with other team members.
  • Review and provide feedback to team members on project deliverables.
  • Lead client presentations.


Responsibility: Client Relationship Management
  • Play a client-service role by partnering with clients to become a trusted advisor, manage and exceed client expectations, and present findings to clients.
  • Support account growth efforts by identifying client needs and incremental opportunities to partner with and support them.


Responsibility: Prospecting and Business Development
  • Support business development efforts in establishing new client partnerships.


Responsibility: Organizational Development
  • Manage and mentor junior team members, providing them with guidance, and formal and informal feedback.
  • Help maintain, inform and improve upon internal process flows and governance.
  • Develop a deep level of trust across internal disciplines and contributing to the success of the work stream delivery. 
  • Play an active role in supporting advancement of Transparent internal goals to educate and advance our collective expertise.
  • Contribute to Transparent’s branding and awareness efforts through content creation, social marketing and event participation.
  • Create educational and network development opportunities.

$100,000 - $155,000 a year
The final compensation within this range will be determined based on a comprehensive evaluation of the candidate’s relevant professional experience, educational background, skill set, and overall alignment with the responsibilities and requirements of the role. Candidates who demonstrate significant experience, specialized expertise, or exceptional qualifications may be considered for compensation at the higher end of the range.
