Industrial Engineer
Location : Decorah, Iowa
Salary : $65,000 - $80,000 (DOE)

What Youll Do :
- Streamline Operations Identify process inefficiencies, reduce waste, and improve production flow.
- Lead Lean Initiatives Implement 5S, Kaizen, value stream mapping, standard work , and other Lean tools to drive efficiency.
- Optimize Manufacturing Processes Improve layouts, workflows, and equipment utilization to enhance throughput.
- Drive Continuous Improvement Track and execute initiatives that increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall performance.
- Mentor & Develop Teams Train and guide operators, technicians, and leaders in Lean methodologies and best practices.
- Manage Capital Projects Oversee equipment selection, process design, and implementation to support production goals.
- Collaborate with Leadership Work closely with the Operations Manager and site leadership to develop and execute a roadmap for long-term operational excellence.
What Were Looking For :
Education : Bachelors degree in Engineering.
Experience : 5 years in Industrial Engineering, with a track record of driving efficiency improvements.
Problem-solving mindset : Strong root cause analysis, data collection, and process optimization skills.
Lean Manufacturing Knowledge : Hands-on experience with Lean principles, process standardization, and waste reduction.
Project Leadership : Ability to lead cross-functional teams and execute improvement initiatives.
Strong Communication : Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and written / oral communication skills.
Self-Starter : Motivated, detail-oriented, and able to focus on high-impact projects.
