Job Title : Quality Assurance Manager
Location : Omaha, Nebraska
Salary : $120K - $140K Bonus
Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Quality Assurance Manager to oversee and maintain a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) that aligns with ISO 9001 standards. The successful candidate will lead the Quality team in continuous improvement initiatives, driving quality enhancements in both design and operations. As a key leader in the organization, you will champion lean methodologies, lead quality improvement projects, and ensure a culture of excellence in our manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 standards.
- Lead and execute quality improvement plans for site operations, with a focus on lean initiatives and Zero Defects principles.
- Serve as the ISO 9001 Management Representative and a member of the Quality Improvement Team (QIT) Steering Team.
- Analyze and present data related to quality, production capabilities, and business trends to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are met throughout the product lifecycle.
- Guide problem-solving efforts using tools like QRQC, 8D, Ishikawa, 5 Whys, and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Work closely with suppliers to manage quality performance, drive APQP / PPAP processes, and implement improvement plans.
- Lead internal audits and corrective Action Requests (CARs), and ensure timely closure of quality-related issues.
- Supervise and mentor the Quality Assurance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high-performance standards.
