We are currently looking for people to participate in our Shallot onsite study.
What is the project about?
This is a dictation study, aimed to compare the performance of various digital dictation services and to support the development of technology products and services.
Task Description:
You will be dictating into a smartphone, according to a set of prompts. You will be video and audio recorded while performing video and audio study tasks. The data collected may be used to develop and improve technologies and algorithms that operate using dictation such as speech recognition, audio processing and immersive multi-media. Before, during and after the session you will be asked to complete study-related questionnaires.
Who is eligible?
To participate you should meet the following qualifying criteria:
- Be 18 years old or older.
- Be fluent in English.
- Be able to visit our premises in Santa Clara for a scheduled session onsite.
- Be able to communicate effectively with and follow instructions from the Study Team.
- Didn't participate in a voice assistant project in the past 24 months.
Where is the study taking place?
This is an onsite study taking place at our premises in Santa Clara, California.
How much is the compensation?
You will receive $100 USD for your participation.
