Primary responsibilities for a TransPlus Technical Implementation Specialist include the successful installation and configuration of our core software products for new and existing customers. Customer environment maintenance, updates to our latest releases, data migrations and general troubleshooting represent other daily responsibilities. Supporting internal teams with technical requests to satisfy customer needs is another important aspect to the role.
The ideal candidate enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and excels at prioritizing tasks to complete goals in a timely manner. Responsibilities
- Successful installation and configuration of TransPlus software solutions in cloud-hosted customer environments
- Work cooperatively with customers to collect, review and analyze technical requirements while performing daily tasks
- Leverage internal resources as required to complete tasks in a timely, high-quality manner
- Communicate with 3rd-party vendors to complete integrations
- Create, manage and maintain technical process documentation
- Leverage project management tools to maintain current project status
- Perform certain after-hours tasks as required by customers
Qualifications
- IT-related course completion/post secondary education preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in a technical, customer-facing position
- Salesforce experience considered an asset
- General technical knowledge related to networking, security, application configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance
- SQL Server maintenance including but not limited to security management and database utility plans
- Experience using server monitoring and configuration tools
- Strong software/hardware troubleshooting skills and a proven ability to solve complex technical problems
- Experience managingMicrosoftAD environments.
- Cloud computing experience would be an asset.
- Ability to successfully manage multiple projects and competing priorities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and proactive collaboration skills
