What are the responsibilities and job description for the Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Driver position at Transport 43?
Non emergency medical transportation driver. We give rides to Medicaid members and private individuals to their appointments. We provide the vehicle, gas & maintenance. The vehicle remains at your residence. The route is all around Blackfoot, Idaho Falls and surrounding communities. Our main responsibility is getting these members to their destination safely while treating them with respect and dignity. The schedule can often change during the course of the day, you must be able to adapt to a changing ride schedule. No felonies allowed. No DUI convictions within the last five years. No battery/assault charges against children or elderly ever. Must be able to pass a background and drug test. A clean driving record is required. There are online classes required by Medicaid to take before starting. This is a great service to the community that helps those that otherwise would not make their appointments.

- Mon-Fri, no weekends
- Rides are between 6 am to 6 pm
