What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial System Analyst position at Transport Enterprise Leasing?
Position Purpose :
The Financial Systems Analyst will play a key role in enhancing and optimizing our reporting capabilities to enable faster decision making and ensure operational efficiency. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze complex financial data, and drive strategic initiatives around transforming the way finance leverages technology. Position Responsibilities :
- Build and analyze financial and operational reports within prescribed deadlines and ad hoc
- Work with a variety of data sources and identify incomplete or inaccurate data, identify root causes, and resolve discrepancies
- Analyze existing financial systems and processes to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization. Makes recommendations regarding emerging technologies in support of process automation and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and execution within financial systems
- Lead and perform testing to ensure accuracy and reliability of financial data in conjunction with system upgrades, integrations, and implementations
- Provide end-user support and training to ensure effective utilization of financial systems and tools
- Partner with IT teams to troubleshoot issues, implement solutions, and ensure the integrity of financial data
- Performs maintenance, updates configurations, and administrative duties
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for financial systems, including workflows, user guides, and training materials
