About the Position: Transport Refrigeration, Inc. seeks an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Billing Clerk Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of essential accounts receivable and billing duties. This is a full-time position where you will work closely with the Office Manager and other team members to ensure timely and accurate financial processes.

Job Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable:
- Apply customer payments to accounts receivable system records.
- Research and resolve payment discrepancies.
- Process credit card payments and credits.
- Adjust accounts as needed.
- Prepare daily manual bank deposits and verify deposits from locations.
- Assist in monthly reconciliation of bank accounts with Accounts Payable.
- Research and input cash receipt data into the system, verifying it against bank deposits.
- Assists in collection efforts for delinquent accounts by using various communication channels.
- Maintain accurate and updated customer files, including changes in name, address, and payment terms.
- Handle customer disputes and discrepancies promptly.
- Perform additional duties as needed.
Billing:
- Conducts accurate billing processes, including receiving units into inventory and processing transfers.
- Create billing folders for unit sales and ensure all required documentation is filed correctly.
- Invoice and track unit sales, ensuring all billing statuses are updated in the system.
- Follow up with sales and service teams to ensure timely closure of billings.
- Prepare and process monthly rental, Guaranteed Maintenance Program (GMP), and building/parking fee billings.
- Prepare bi-weekly Transport Refrigeration Services (TRS) billing.
- Address internal and external customer billing inquiries.
- Maintain the confidentiality of company information.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required. An associate’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent verbal communication skills, both in person and over the phone.
- Ability to maintain a professional and respectful demeanor in all interactions.
- Team player with a willingness to collaborate and work towards common goals.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
