Commercial Equipment Sales Account Manager
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Location: Oak Creek, WI
Transport Refrigeration, Inc. seeks a motivated Commercial Equipment Sales Account Manager to join our Oak Creek, WI team. In this role, you will sell services and transport refrigeration equipment to truckload carriers. You will also build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understand their needs, and offer tailored solutions to enhance their fleet operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the trucking or transportation industry, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to meet sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with current and potential customers to sell services and transport refrigeration equipment.
- Develop and present proposals, quotes, and tailored service recommendations based on customer needs.
- Manage customer accounts, resolve issues, and provide follow-up to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate sales documentation and prevent errors in sales orders.
- Collaborate with clients to arrange payment terms and collect delinquent accounts.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulations through ongoing education and participation in seminars.
- Travel to meet customers in person and manage relationships via phone and email.
- Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 5-6 years of experience selling parts to truckload carriers and 2-4 years of experience selling trucks or trailers.
- Strong understanding of the transport refrigeration and class 6/7/8 rental and leasing markets.
- Ability to engage with clients at the C-suite level and build strong business relationships.
- Excellent verbal communication skills, consultative selling ability, and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- College degree preferred, or a combination of education and experience.
- A clean and valid driver’s license is required.
- Ability to travel for up to several days at a time.
