Transport Refrigeration, Inc., your local Thermo King dealer in Oak Creek, WI, seeks an outgoing and motivated sales professional to join our team. As an Outside Parts Salesperson you will be the face of our company, responsible for building and maintaining customer relationships while driving sales in your designated territory. You will manage a route, deliver products, take orders, and ensure customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate should have sales experience in a dealership, trucking industry, auto parts, or heavy-duty equipment setting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintains an established sales route
- Builds relationship with customers and becomes a resource to solve issues and problems
- Assists customers with parts purchases and products
- Sell parts for refrigeration units, Auxiliary Power Packs, Heaters, Cab A/C Units, and other product lines
- Makes regular cold calls to expand the customer base
- Operates company truck safely and in compliance with traffic laws
- Complete weekly route reports
- Delivers and picks up parts for customers and vendors
- Assists with inventory control processes
- Helps with physical inventory counts
- Maintains confidentiality of all company information
- Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
Job Specifications and Qualifications:
- Completion of a high school education, relevant vocational training, or a combination of education and experience.
- Strong verbal communication skills for both one-on-one interactions and phone conversations.
- Maintains a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Exhibits a considerate and respectful attitude toward both internal and external customers.
- Highly motivated to complete tasks and achieve goals.
- Ability to travel for training purposes.
- Willingness and capability to work collaboratively as a team player.
- Adheres to established safety standards.
- Possess and maintain a valid, unrestricted driver's license.
- Proven ability to use email, particularly Microsoft Outlook.
- Quick learner with the ability to operate proprietary software systems.
- Proficient in basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and calculating percentages and fractions.
- Capable of writing clearly and informatively in typical business scenarios.
