Transport Refrigeration Inc., your local Thermo King Dealership, is seeking a Parts Counter Associate for our new Oak Creek, WI shop location. Previous experience with automotive or heavy-duty truck and trailer parts is preferred! The Parts Counter Associate assists customers over the phone and in person, tracking inventory, working closely with our service department, and much more. Strong computer skills and attention to detail are a must! This is a great position for hard-working individuals with a great work ethic who are looking to expand their careers within the transportation industry. Job Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service
- Tracking, order, and reconcile parts inventory
- Distribute and record parts with our service technicians
- Deliver parts to customers and vendors
- Assembly of customer and OEM parts
- Input counter invoicing and quote information using MAS system
- A high level of attention to detail
- Must be highly organized and able to multitask & prioritize needs
- Check-in inventory and stock shelves
- Operate a forklift to load and unload trailers
Job Qualifications:
- The successful candidate must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Valid, unrestricted driver’s license
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Willing to complete a forklift certification course
- Ability to quickly learn and use proprietary software systems
- Strong computer skills with experience using Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Demonstrates a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
- Considerate and respectful attitude toward both internal and external customers
- Highly motivated to do what it takes to get the job done
- Ability to work overtime when busy
- Willingness to travel for training
- Can work well with others and be a team player
- Ability to follow safety standards
