Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers at the counter and over the phone with parts orders.
- Distribute parts to technicians and record them on repair orders.
- Input counter invoicing and quote information
- Collect payment for parts from COD customers
- Ensure the parts room is clean, neat, organized, and safe.
- Receive stock orders
- Manage warranty parts
- Cycle Count inventory as well as full physical inventories
- Operate a forklift to load and unload trailers.
- Answer incoming calls and route them to the appropriate associate.
- Pick up and deliver parts as required.
- Shipping of parts to customers
- Maintain confidentiality of all company information.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Job Specifications and Qualifications:
- Completion of a high school education, related vocational training, or a combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrate a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Maintain a considerate and respectful attitude toward both internal and external customers.
- Highly motivated to accomplish tasks and meet goals.
- Willingness to work overtime as business needs require.
- Ability to travel for training purposes.
- Willingness and ability to collaborate effectively as a team player.
- Adhere to safety standards consistently.
- Strong verbal communication skills for both one-on-one interactions and phone conversations.
- Possession of a valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
- Successful completion of a forklift certification course.
- Ability to quickly learn and effectively use proprietary software systems.
- Proven experience with Microsoft Outlook for email communication.
- Proficient in basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and calculating percentages and fractions.
- Ability to write clearly and informatively in typical business situations.
- Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
