Thursday - Saturday, 4:00 PM - 4:30 AM

Transport Refrigeration Services, Inc. is looking for a self-motivated and hardworking Shop Helper to join our fleet service shop. The ideal candidate will have previous truck driving or yard jockey/spotter experience.

- $2.00/hour shift premium for night shift
Job Responsibilities:
- Services external customers by washing trailers inside and outside
- Proficiently and safely drive and operate the yard truck and back up semi-trailers with the yard truck
- Perform interior and exterior trailer washes on trailers
- Clean up of shop, wash bay and fuel island
- Fueling of equipment
- Meet standard repair times for jobs performed
- Operates company and customer vehicles, Yard Truck, Fork Lift, Shop Truck
- Maintains confidentiality of all company information
- Follow established policies and procedures of both Transport Refrigeration Services and the Customer
- Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
Job Requirements & Qualifications:
- Be able to work a varied schedule
- Ability to work overtime when busy
- Demonstrate a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
- Considerate and respectful attitude toward both internal and external customers
- Highly motivated to do what it takes to get the job done
- Willingness and ability to work with others and be a team player
- Ability to follow safety standards
Licenses/Certificates:
- Maintenance of an unrestricted driver’s license
- Class A CDL driving experience is preferred, but not required
- Successful completion of 40 hours of Yard Truck driving course
- Successful completion of a forklift certification course
