LOCATION AND WORK :
This position is full-time and will be hybrid at our Emerald Isle, North Carolina office.

ABOUT THE POSITION AND OUR TEAM:
The Parcel Analyst gathers and analyzes supply chain data for clients. The goal of the Parcel Analyst is to support the Parcel Billing team by data-mining accurately and communicating discoveries and areas of opportunity to the Billing team and Parcel Operations Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Generate invoices for Parcel services using user-collected supply-chain data.
- Data mine and convey key insights & findings to the team.
- Support the sales and internal teams in key Parcel functions such as contract or data-related inquiries and client research, using operational data.
- Develop a deep understanding of Parcel systems to properly implement executed Parcel Contract Negotiation deals.
- Maintain expert knowledge of the general parcel market and current Parcel Contract Negotiation clients.
- Report on common sources of technical issues or questions; make recommendations to the product team.
- Constantly seek ways to improve monitoring, discover issues, and deliver better value to the customer.
- Plan and conduct training sessions for employees and sales.
- Maintain timely project commitments in a team atmosphere.
- Effectively communicate complex data patterns internally and when necessary, externally.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in Business Management/Supply-chain, Mathematics, Statistics, or other related degrees, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Prior experience in Analytics or a related area is strongly preferred.
- Detail-oriented with a strong disposition for accuracy.
- Strong critical thinking abilities as well as problem identification and solving skills.
- Prior experience within a logistics environment is preferred.
- Intermediate to advanced mathematical aptitude.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office with intermediate to advanced skills in Excel.
- High level of communication and presentation skills.
- Must be a self-starter and be able to work independently and autonomously.
- Ability to read and evaluate template legal agreements.
