As we continue to expand, we are looking to grow our Account Manager team.


Job purpose

As an Account Manager your responsibilities include developing long-term relationships with a portfolio of clients, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders. Account Managers liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs. Manage and develop client accounts to initiate and maintain favorable relationship with clients.


Duties and responsibilities


  • Lead on customer specific quality control and cost containment
  • Manages day to day operations and daily workflow
  • Responsible for A/R accuracy
  • Ensure accurate load level data entry
  • Act as main point of contact for day-to-day planners
  • Accept, reject, and make decisions on tenders
  • Assists the Key Account Manager with updating SOP execution
  • Responsible for daily load board maintenance
  • Implements account specific strategies to improve the quality of service
  • Lead on account specific email correspondence
  • Back-up on daily revenue generating activities
  • Lead on all claims and OS&D events
  • Other duties as determined by supervisor


Qualifications


  • Clear and confident communication
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in 3PL required
  • Bachelor’s Degree - preferred
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to apply industry and market knowledge
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment, while also delivering independent results
  • Strong ability to persuade, motivate, and influence others
  • Detail oriented and ability to multi-task
  • Ambitious and enthusiastic attitude
  • A combination of the above shall also be considered

Compensation

Compensation for this role will range between 54,000-60,000 commission.


Working conditions


General office environment. Work is generally performed in a seated position with a high volume of computer screen reading, but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard equipment available.
