Job purpose
As a Carrier Sales Manager you will be responsible for building an agile, effective team of Carrier
Sales Reps by cultivating and maintaining relationships between carriers, internal reps, and
Transportation One as a whole.
Qualifications
• 7 years’ experience in the industry
• 3 years’ management experience
• Knowledge of multiple modes of transportation: Van, Flatbed, Reefer, LTL, FTL and Rail
• Dynamic leader with a bold presence and contagious positive attitude
Duties and responsibilities
Lead, Manage, Accountability
• Manage KPI development, deployment, and adherence
• Enforce and hold carrier reps accountable for following company and departmental SOPs
• Conduct regular team performance reviews and coach employees accordingly
• Provide ongoing training of carrier reps through coaching and sales development
• Daily focus on Rep development and workflow execution
Board Management
• Assign freight to reps based on regions and lane history
• Collaborate with pricing manager and sales reps on rate strategy for annual RFPs and
contract bidding
• Analyze market and competition to understand transportation and supply chain industry
and adapt strategy to achieve competitive edge in the marketplace
Load Coverage
• Oversight of carrier procurement functions including contractual & transactional
sourcing
• Ensure all loads have at least three offers logged in load notes
• Establish and manage carrier relations and development activities that support the
overall carrier sales strategy
• Work with carrier partners to continually seek new solutions for their logistics challenges
Maintain Service Levels
• Autonomous track & trace adoption and compliance.

Compensation
Compensation for this role will range between 100,000-113,000 quarterly bonus program.
Salary : $100,000 - $113,000
