PROGRAM DATES:
ESY Summer School: July 7-24, 2025 Monday-Thursday
Summer Acceleration Camps: July 28-August 15, 2025 Monday – Friday
POSITION SUMMARY
This position transports students by Type 10 / Type 20 vehicle (mini bus or SUV) in a safe and professional manner. Areas covered include Madras, Prineville, Redmond, and Bend.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE (Minimum Qualifications)
All drivers or others employed or employed in that capacity must:
- Any combination of education, training, and experience which demonsrtates ability to perform the duties and responsibilities as described within this job description
- Be at least 18 years of age;
- Hold a valid Type 10 or Type 20 Certificate - or have ability to obtain
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working as a school bus driver in a k-12 environment.
- Experience working in a driver position in a non-school industry.
- The ability to obtain a valid First Aid/CPR card.
- Bilingual Spanish
- Current bus driver for Jefferson County School District 509-J
