POSITION SUMMARY :
The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoice payments and maintaining financial records. This role will work collaboratively with Property Management and Client Accounting teams to process financial data for use in maintaining account records.
POSITION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Receive and review invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
- Prepare and process weekly or monthly payment runs through checks, electronic transfers, or other approved payment methods.
- Verify and reconcile payment batches, ensuring accuracy.
- Maintain positive relationships with internal customers and provide timely responses to inquiries regarding payment status.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records, including invoices, receipts, and payment documentation.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiencies within the accounts payable function.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams as necessary.
- Order needed supplies.
- Other duties as assigned.
