Transylvania County Schools seeks a Career and Technical Education Career Development Coordinator. Position is available August 1, 2025. Position is full-time (40 hours per week) and includes employment benefits; 11-month employment term. Salary will be based on North Carolina's teacher salary schedule. Applicants for the position must hold or be eligible to hold NC educator licensure in areas 747 (Career Development Cooridnator). Applicants should possess relevant experience that includes one year within the past five years in business, industry, labor, classroom teacher in a Career and Technical Education program area, or professional support in an educational setting: Career Development Coordinator, Special Populations Coordinator, Curriculum Specialist, or Instructional Technology Specialist. Job duties include CTE career exploration for fifth through eighth grades and coordination of work sites for job shadowing internships/apprenticeships. One additional requirement includes the completion of a 40-hour Induction Program.
