Transylvania County Schools seeks a Middle School Math Teacher (Grade 6) at Rosman Middle School. Position is available January 3, 2025. Position is full-time and includes employment benefits; 10-month employment term. Salary: State base salary schedule for teacher salary plus 8.5% annual local salary supplement.
Applicants for the position must hold or be eligible to hold NC licensure in area 78200 (Mathematics 6-9) and must be "highly qualified" in the license area pursuant to federal No Child Left Behind regulations. Applicants who hold any additional middle school licensure areas in addition to mathematics will be preferred.
