OBJECTIVE:
We’re looking for passionate, compassionate individuals who are excited to support and empower people to grow in areas like self-help, socialization, communication, adaptive skills, and vocational training. Whether in our vibrant facility programs or out in the community, you’ll help service recipients build confidence and independence through hands-on training and meaningful support.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Support and guide individuals with varying abilities as they learn new skills and reach their goals.
• Follow a provided weekly schedule and adapt to meet the needs of the day.
• Provide one-on-one and group supervision in facility and community settings.
• Document progress and activities accurately and on time.
• Understand how different disabilities can affect daily life and provide support accordingly.
• Use clear communication—verbally, in writing, and electronically.
• Teach and model everyday living and interpersonal skills.
• Participate in planning and implementing personalized service plans.
• Recognize emergencies and respond effectively and calmly.
• Collaborate with care teams, family members, community partners, and other support systems.
• Drive individuals to and from activities when needed.
• Step in with hands-on help for daily tasks—from medication to personal care to conflict resolution.
• Encourage and lead fun and engaging social activities.
• Support food program compliance where applicable (including meal counts and nutrition standards).

What You Bring to the Table:

• A caring attitude and a passion for helping others live their best lives.
• A high school diploma or GED.
• You're 18 or older and ready to make a positive impact.
• A valid driver’s license and personal vehicle insurance.
• Willingness to get CPR, First Aid, and other essential certifications (we’ll help with training).
• Ability to work flexible hours, including some nights and weekends.
• A clean background check, MVR, and drug screen.
• Previous experience with individuals with developmental disabilities is a bonus—but not required!

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to read, write, do basic math, and follow directions.
• Comfortable lifting up to 50lbs, standing for extended periods, getting in and out of vehicles, and supporting individuals in various weather conditions.
