Position Summary:
The Food Safety and Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality throughout the dry foods manufacturing process. Key Responsibilities:
- Food Safety Management:
- Develop, implement, and maintain food safety management systems (e.g., HACCP, SQF).
- Monitor compliance with food safety regulations and industry standards.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of facilities and processes.
- Quality Assurance:
- Establish and maintain quality control procedures to ensure product consistency and compliance.
- Analyze quality data and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and improve processes.
- Training and Development:
- Provide training to staff on food safety and quality practices.
- Promote a culture of food safety and quality within the organization.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, audits, and corrective actions.
- Prepare reports for management and regulatory agencies as required.
- Supplier Quality Management:
- Evaluate and approve suppliers based on quality and safety standards.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Nutrition, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in food safety and quality management in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality standards (e.g., FDA, USDA, ISO).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Certification in food safety (e.g., HACCP, SQF) preferred.
