As a Sanitation Team Member, you'll play a key role in upholding our hygiene, food safety, and quality standards. Your responsibilities will include:
Sanitation Tasks
- Cleaning and sanitizing equipment, pipes, ducts, furniture, floors, walls, ceilings, and other areas
- Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting as assigned
- Performing wet cleaning of production rooms and equipment using proper personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Working safely with cleaning chemicals (training and certification provided)
- Keeping your work area clean, organized, and safe at all times
Communication & Safety
- Following all safety policies, hygiene standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
- Communicating sanitation concerns, such as food safety or foreign material issues, to supervisors or team members
- Understanding and following written and verbal instructions
- Working independently and staying focused without constant supervision
- Being flexible and ready to work in different areas of the facility as needed
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for an entire shift and perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, twisting, reaching, stooping, and carrying up to 15 lbs (and occasionally up to 60 lbs)
- Comfort working at heights or in damp conditions
- Visual sharpness to assess cleanliness and product safety
- Basic math, reading, and writing skills, including understanding measurements, number sequences, percentages, and color codes
