What you'll be challenged to do:
Gannett Fleming TranSystems is seeking a Bridge Inspector Report Writer to join our Charleston, SC office.This position includes the preparation of inspection reports and data entry into the South Carolina Department of Transportation Bridge Management System. Looking for a technical individual, team oriented with strong communication skills. Day to day assignments and technical guidance will be provided by current staff.
General Duties & Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Create bridge inspection reports.
- Receives instructions from Project Manager or Senior Project Engineers as to the general results expected.
- Responsible for accuracy of reports, quality presentation, thoroughness and follow-through, and efficient conformance to budgets, schedules, and company standards.
What you bring to our firm:
- High School Diploma.
- Minimum (Basic knowledge of computers and typing at least 50 WPM is necessary).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
- Team oriented with strong communication skills.
- Actively engages multiple perspectives when solving problems, seeks to learn from peers, and encourages reciprocal learning among team members.
What we’d prefer for you to bring to our firm:
- Word and Excel proficiency a plus.
- Experience with ProjectWise, Bluebeam, BrM, and Google Earth.
- Bridge inspection experience.
