What you'll be challenged to do:

• Analyzes information and data to perform routine design tasks.
• Receives instructions from Project Manager or Senior Project Engineers as to the general results expected.
• Research design options and document findings.
• Responsible as a member of the design team for accuracy of engineering design and plans, quality presentation, thoroughness and follow-through, and efficient conformance to budgets, schedules, and company standards.
• Keeps Project Manager informed of workload and any changes in project schedule or scope or additional services.
• May be asked to participate in non-design engineering activities such as bridge inspection, CADD production, and field data collection.

What you bring to our firm:

• Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Candidate preferably (but not required) to be entering their second or third co-op.
• Oral Communication - Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification; responds well to questions.
• Ethics - Treats people with respect; works with integrity and ethically.
• Attendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time; ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent; arrives at meetings and appointments on time.

• Actively engages multiple perspectives when solving problems, seeks to learn from peers, and encourages reciprocal learning among team members.
