Responsibilities :
What you'll be challenged to do :
TranSystems is excited to announce we are actively searching for a Field Technician to join our award-winning team in the Traffic department.
Primary Responsibilities :
- The following duties are typical of the position, but are not all-encompassing. Each person is expected to help out in whatever duties are required to deliver a quality product on schedule.
- Perform manual turning movement counts, observe traffic patterns and record comments.
- Sketch intersection and obtain pertinent information.
- Set traffic counting devices in the roadway under varying traffic conditions.
- Set traffic counting cameras adjacent to the roadway.
- Upload data from counting devices to computer.

Work Conditions :
Outside regardless of weather; travel required; overtime up to 12 hrs / day occasionally for traffic counts. Nighttime and weekend work sometimes required.
