Responsibilities
What you'll be challenged to do:
- Analyzes information and data to perform routine design tasks.
- Receives instructions from Project Manager or Senior Project Engineers as to the general results expected.
- Research design options and document findings.
- Responsible as a member of the design team for accuracy of engineering design and plans, quality presentation, thoroughness and follow-through, and efficient conformance to budgets, schedules, and company standards.
- Keeps Project Manager informed of workload and any changes in project schedule or scope or additional services.
- May be asked to participate in non-design engineering activities such as bridge inspection, CADD production, and field data collection.
What you bring to our firm:
- Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Candidate preferably (but not required) to be entering their second or third co-op.
- Oral Communication - Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification; responds well to questions.
