What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced Project Accountant Wanted for Engineering Firm position at Transystems?

Responsibilities:
- Process new project setups in Vision, CostPoint, and Project Forecast, ensuring timely authorization and approvals.
- Review contract documents for billing terms and conditions, preparing subconsultant agreements as needed.
- Prepare and provide documentation to internal teams, ensuring accurate tracking of approval status.
- Monitor budgets, track monthly unbilled amounts, and assess potential revenue adjustments.
- Filing, copying, and pulling invoice backup, maintaining project files, and assisting with project reviews.
- Communicate daily with HQ Accounting team on invoicing, project setup/supplementing, and other issues.
- Daily communication with PMs, local/area/regional leadership, and field crews, maintaining local office checking account and processing check requests.
- Assist with Onboarding, including time sheet and expense report training, serving as a Notary Public when required.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in accounting, with a degree or equivalent experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, math proficiency, and problem-solving abilities.
- Able to work under pressure in a deadline-driven environment, prioritizing tasks and involving upper management when necessary.
