Responsibilities What you'll be challenged to do : Gannett Fleming TranSystems is seeking a Civil Transportation intern interested in learning career skills through assisting our experienced Engineers in the design process and preparation of plan sets. Successful candidates will be exposed to multiple engineering disciplines including : roadway design, drainage design, utilities, right-of-way, and other aspects related to highway and bridge projects. Perform variety of tasks related to Civil Engineering to support design, analysis, and plan production. Collect, organize, and evaluate data needed for basic calculations and design. Assist with computation of plan quantities to support cost estimates. Coordinate with a team of designers and technicians. Utilize Microstation, OpenRoads Designer, and various other design software. Attend staff meetings Aid in filing project drawings, specifications and reports Qualifications What you bring to our firm : Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor‘s Degree in Civil Engineering from ABET accredited school or university.
