Responsibilities What you'll be challenged to do : Gannett Fleming TranSystems is eeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Electronic Security Designer to join our team. This role involves providing design and project management services for electronic and physical security systems within the justice sector, including correctional facilities, detention centers, and juvenile detention facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of justice operations and the unique requirements of corrections, detention, and juvenile facilities. They will also be responsible for driving business growth by marketing and promoting security solutions in collaboration with the design team. This role requires a proactive approach to client relationship management, with a focus on selling services and solutions tailored to the justice market. Primary Responsibilities : Design, implement, and manage electronic and physical security systems for justice facilities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and operational needs. Provide consulting services to clients, leveraging knowledge of corrections, detention, and juvenile justice operations to develop tailored solutions. Identify and pursue business opportunities to grow the justice-focused vertical, developing marketing strategies and promotional efforts. Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to promote and sell security-related services. Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and client satisfaction. Stay up to date with industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to justice security systems. Qualifications What you bring to our firm : Proven experience in designing and managing security systems for justice-related facilities. Knowledge of corrections, detention, and juvenile justice operations and their security requirements. Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively market services and establish client relationships. Familiarity with industry standards, codes, and technologies for electronic and physical security systems. Ability to travel as required to meet with clients and oversee projects. Actively engages multiple perspectives when solving problems, seeks to learn from peers, and encourages reciprocal learning among team members.
