Responsibilities :
What you'll be challenged to do :
TranSystems is looking for a Survey Crew Chief who will perform and lead crew members in activities on a wide variety of surveying projects for public and private sector clients.
Responsibilities and Essential Functions :
- Take instructions and follow directions.
- Lead survey crew in executing field surveys accurately and efficiently.
- Supervise other survey crew members in proper surveying techniques and equipment operations.
- Provide survey crew leadership in vehicle, instrument and equipment care and maintenance.
- Develop thorough and accurate field notes, survey reports and calculations.
- Proactively provide routine communications to supervisors and administrative support staff.
- Conform in all respects with applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, ordinances, and other orders and to all company policies, procedures and directives from supervisors.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested by management.
- Must be available to travel and work overtime occasionally.
