Job Summary: Works under limited supervision, responsible for (primary) Inventory Control, (secondary) goods receiving, shipping, picking, packing, and proper warehousing of goods in the factory. Train and assist the Warehouse, Shipping, Receiving & IC team.
Must follow established procedures and guidelines to provide timely and effective clerical documentation to supply chain, finance, and internal customers. Ensure proper systematic transactions are completed timely and accurately for inventory control, transport and distribution center to support the business needs of the department and internal/external customers.
Job Responsibilities: The primary responsibilities include inventory control, receiving, shipping, picking, packing, and warehousing of goods. The role also involves training and assisting the warehouse team, ensuring accurate inventory transactions, and maintaining inventory accuracy.
Skills and Competencies: Required skills include effective communication, compliance with core values, experience with MRP and ERP applications, ability to read engineering drawings, and knowledge of computers and Microsoft Suite. A forklift license and hazardous shipping certification may be necessary.
Education and Physical Requirements:
- A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required, with an associate degree preferred.
- Candidates should have at least three (3) years of inventory control experience.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able operate material handling equipment.
- Must be able to sit/stand/walk for up to 10 hours a day.
