Business Operations Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Business Operations Specialist to become the go-to resource for all things related to PS operations. You will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy of deployment records and billing, resolving discrepancies, and improving PS processes. This is a highly collaborative role that works cross-functionally with Engagement Managers, Finance, Procurement, and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own PS operational processes and serve as the point of contact for all related inquiries.
• Work with Engagement and Delivery Managers to ensure deployment records and billing data are accurate and up to date.
• Coordinate with partners and PS field teams to meet monthly billing deadlines.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies between time cards and SAP interface.
• Liaise between Engagement Managers and Accounts Payable to support invoicing and time card reconciliation.
• Assist with work orders, approvals, purchase requisitions, and vendor setup.
• Monitor deployment record compliance and best practices.
• Administer and configure billing rules within PS automation tools.
• Build and deliver reports for senior management using Excel and reporting tools.
• Collaborate closely with PS Accounting to identify and implement process improvements.

Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience in business operations, ideally within Professional Services.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
• Experience supporting consulting, project management, and sales teams.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and reporting/PS automation tools.
• Knowledge of financial principles such as revenue recognition and account reconciliation is preferred.
• Self-starter who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys building processes from the ground up.

Experience with PS Automation platforms and SAP integration is a plus.
