We are currently looking for 'Physician Relations Specialist' to support one of our clients with the following skills:
Requirement:
Job Title: Physician Relations Specialist (PRS)
Location: Houston, TX (100% remote opportunity, but the consultant must be local to Houston)
Duration: 7 months
Bill Rate: doe
Must be local to Houston, TX: Must live in the Houston area, as part of the job will require in-person meetings with our providers. However, they will not be required to report to an office on a regular basis so it’ll be remote work. There will be in person meetings maybe 1-2x per week at a set location (not driving all around Houston). Therefore, 'travel' expenses will not be reimbursed. Majority of the work is fully remote.
Duties:
- Research & Analysis: Conduct detailed research on non-credentialed nephrologists and nephrologists not using client services to understand barriers and challenges in selecting a dialysis partner.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain productive relationships with nephrologists, practice staff, and client teammates.
- Partnership with Field Leaders: Collaborate closely with field leaders in the Houston market to align strategies and enhance nephrologist engagement.
- Monthly Report-Outs: Prepare and present monthly reports to senior stakeholders, summarizing research findings, relationship progress, and project status.
- Protocol Adherence: Follow established protocols set by Legal and Compliance and escalate situations as necessary.
- Communication: Utilize outstanding oral and written communication skills to effectively convey findings and recommendations.
- Organizational Skills: Demonstrate strong organizational abilities with a focus on multitasking and timely follow-up.
- Provider Support: Support both non-credentialed and credentialed providers by addressing their needs, answering their questions, and facilitating their engagement with client services.
- Barrier Identification: Identify and address barriers preventing nephrologists from becoming credentialed or utilizing client services, providing solutions and support to overcome these challenges.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate records of research, communications, and provider interactions in client's databases and systems.
- Market Analysis: Conduct ongoing market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks in the Houston market, and adjust strategies accordingly.

- Knowledge of healthcare is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred.
Education
- Associate's degree required.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

The national base pay range below is a good-faith estimate of what our client may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Client's assessment of the candidates knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity. $60,000 - $70,000
