Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and analyze sales data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for growth.
- Generate and maintain reports and dashboards to track sales performance, revenue, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Research industry trends, competitor strategies, and customer behavior to support pricing and sales strategies.
- Assist in sales forecasting by evaluating historical sales data and market demand.
- Provide data-driven insights to help optimize sales strategies and customer segmentation.
- Assess sales performance by product, region, and customer segment to identify strengths and areas for improvement.
- Maintain and update sales databases and CRM systems to ensure data accuracy.
- Work closely with sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain teams to align business objectives.
- Identify opportunities to enhance sales processes and reporting efficiency.
Requirements:
- Strong ability to analyze large datasets and generate actionable insights.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data visualization); experience with SQL, Power BI, or Tableau is a plus.
- Ability to ensure accuracy in reporting and data interpretation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for presenting insights to stakeholders.
- Ability to think critically and propose solutions based on data analysis.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and support cross-functional initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Internship or coursework in sales analytics, business intelligence, or related areas.
