For Urgent Hire near Denver, CO: Starting December 1st, 2024.
Bin Pushing and trash valet at Trash Caddies is a crucial role responsible for managing a route of homes that require the trash cans to be pushed from the house to the curb for the city's scheduled trash pickup days, and then back to the house from the curb after the city services.
This role involves taking photos with every service and adhering to any notes left by the homeowner regarding the placement of the cans. You will be using your own phone for this.
This is mainly an afternoon position offering a choice of the available schedules listed below. You must be available a minimum of 2 days a week to be considered for this role.
This is the perfect role for someone who likes to own their own schedule and currently operates for gig services like Uber, DoorDash, Instacart, etc. Particularly effective operators will have access to more opportunities to earn more money as they need to.
Because you are using your own vehicle, we also pay an additional $3 for gas and mileage per hour for a total of $25/route.
You will be servicing the areas around Morrison, Colorado as we grow our market in this area. To start, this positions will be 2 days a week, one hour a day.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
License/Certification:
- Driver's License
Equipment:
- Personal cell phone with working camera
- Personal vehicle
- Access to a working GPS or maps app
Knowledge and Skills:
- Ability to follow directions and notes accurately
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills
- Basic to intermediate literacy in tech (mobile apps, etc)
- Basic photography skills for documenting services
- Physical ability to handle outdoor tasks
- Comfortability being around and occasionally touching bagged garbage, trash and junk
- Ability to push bins up to 50lbs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in gig work or startup environments
- Familiarity with the area
- Customer service experience for instances when you encounter guests or property managers
Working Conditions:
- Outdoor work, exposed to various weather conditions
- Flexible schedule, 2 days a week.
- Routes assigned on an as-needed basis
- Regular communication with the local operations manager for guidance and issue resolution
- Occasional interactions with our customers and their customers
- Close proximity with trash & garbage (usually bagged) and junk

Expected Hours: To start, this position will be 2 days a week, 1 hour each day for 1 stop. More hours will become available as we grow this market.
