Assistant Manager

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our retail environment, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales performance. This position requires strong leadership skills, effective communication abilities, and a passion for training and developing team members.

Duties

• Assist in managing daily store operations to ensure a smooth workflow and excellent customer experience.
• Support the recruitment process by identifying potential candidates and participating in employee orientation.
• Develop and implement training programs for new hires and existing staff to enhance their skills in sales and customer service.
• Oversee inventory management to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize shrinkage.
• Foster a positive work environment by communicating effectively with team members and addressing any issues promptly.
• Drive wireless sales initiatives by promoting products and services to customers while maintaining phone etiquette.
• Collaborate with the management team to set sales targets and develop strategies to achieve them.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while maintaining high standards of retail management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail management or a similar role is preferred.
• Strong background in sales, with the ability to motivate others to achieve targets.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with customers and staff.
• Experience in training development, demonstrating an ability to enhance team performance through effective coaching.
• Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customer bases.
• Proficiency in inventory management practices is desirable.
• Strong phone etiquette skills when interacting with customers over the phone.
• A proactive approach to recruiting talent that aligns with company values and culture.
