Overview
We are seeking an Administrative Intern with previous office experience and ideally experience in the health care industry. We are seeking a professional, organized and compassionate individual who is looking for a long-term position with a great company.
Position: Part-Time UNPAID Internship, Course Credit Available
Position available: Immediately
Valid Driver License Required
Administrative Assistant Responsibilities:
- Great customer service skills (Compassionate Attitude)
- Ability to multi-task
- Experience converting phone leads valued
- Independent problem solving and initiative
· Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
· Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and provide information to callers (Experience with multi-line phone system preferred)
· Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
· Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
· Provide administrative and calendaring support to staff members as needed
Proficient Knowledge:
· Excellent phone etiquette and strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Electronic Health Records preferred
- Microsoft Office programs (Word and Excel a must)
- Adobe Acrobat
- General office equipment and computer proficiency
Self-Management Skills:
- Strong computer literacy with the ability to learn new software quickly
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain positive and compassionate attitude and handle difficult conversations with clients & guests
- Ability to communicate clearly & efficiently with diverse clients
- Cooperative attitude that is compatible with others
- Pleasant telephone voice
