Position Title: Remodeling Sales Representative Job Description
FSLA Status: Exempt

Primary Purpose and Function:
-The primary role of the Sales Rep is to achieve maximum sales profitability, growth and market penetration within the Remodeling Industry by effectively selling TraVek’s services utilizing both personal and company resources to generate leads, service leads and to turn leads into sales.
-Demonstrate products and services to existing/potential customers and assist them in selecting those that are suited best according to their budget and want/needs and according to the company sales process.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities (Required):
-Setting goals and priorities.
-Sell according to the company sales process.
-Maintain effective work habits to ensure that you are servicing all customers to your full potential.
-Attend weekly sales & personal development meetings at the TraVek office, (currently on Wednesday mornings @ 8:30 a.m.) and Sandler Sales Training (currently on Tuesday mornings or Tuesday afternoons).
-Utilize PFP to maintain an accurate schedule and coordinate regularly with the Sales Manager/Coordinator to ensure you are effectively managing your time.
-Maintain and update your company price sheets/methods to ensure accurate pricing.
-Establish, develop, and maintain customer relationships with current and prospective customers to generate new business.
-Establish your “niche” market/neighborhood and target it weekly.
-Participate in Trade Show and Conventions.
-Maintain regular “technical training” on all computer programs that you utilize to include the following: TraVek’s pricing program, Google Drive/Google Suites, Profit Finder Pro, BuilderTrend, Chief Architect, 2020 Design Program, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel.
-Maintain proficiency in developing and placing cabinet orders, to include using the 2020 Design Program to produce cabinet orders.
-Keep abreast of new products, product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities and potential for new products and services.
-Utilize PFP regularly to analyze your sales data to ensure that you are effectively servicing all of your leads.
-Follow the “H” method with each new customer: “Door knock (5) houses on each side and (10) houses across the street of each new client you have” (subject to neighborhood regulations).
Essential Functions and Responsibilities (Recommended):
-Create a list of (6) things that you will do daily to help you succeed in your career and adjust this list as needed.
-Prospecting- Talk to at least (5) new people weekly about your company and what you have to offer.
-Research and develop sources for developing prospective customers.
-Read motivational books regularly to learn, and to keep excitement and morale high.
-Maintain regular “sales training” and “technical training” on proven sales methods and techniques for sales and the tools utilized in your work.
-Continually learn new sales techniques/strategies to reach potential customers.
**The above should be done on a regular basis to help you succeed in your Sales Career**
Behavior, Attire and Mannerisms:
-Sales Reps are ambassadors for the company and are required to act as such at all times when dealing with both, current or potential TraVek customers and TraVek employees. Respect for all is to be shown at all times.
-The Sales Reps’s vehicle will be neat, clean and presentable at all times. The vehicle will be properly washed, maintained, and must always be driven with respect and according to the rules of the State in which it is driven in.
-TraVek clothing with appropriate logos will be worn at all times when dealing with TraVek customers or employees.
-TraVek Employee language will be impeccable and beyond reproach. Absolutely no swearing in the office or when with clients.
-Office hours will be held with exception to client appointments: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Physical Demands:
-Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
-Must be able to stand on feet for a minimum of 8 hours per day
-Must be in good physical condition.
