As a Sales Director at Travel & Adventure Shows, you will be the driving force behind our revenue growth initiatives for our world-class travel and adventure trade shows. You will join a dynamic sales team, forge strategic partnerships with key industry players, and develop innovative sales strategies to secure sponsorships, exhibitor commitments, and other critical revenue streams. Compensation:
Total compensation: Highly Performance based.
- Base salary plus Commission and quota bonus. The more you sell the more you make. NO CAP.
Duties
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company objectives and maximize market share.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to align sales strategies with market trends and customer needs.
- Manage key accounts, building strong relationships with clients to enhance retention and satisfaction.
- Analyze market data and sales performance metrics to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals with clients, ensuring favorable terms for both parties.
- Oversee the development of sales forecasts, budgets, and reports for senior management review.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to inform strategic decisions.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a sales leadership role, preferably within travel and or media sectors.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics and business development principles.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of closing high-value deals.
- Ability to analyze data effectively to drive informed decision-making.
