Job Summary
TravelCenters of America offers a convenient, one-stop shopping experience to our customers. Each location has a plethora of dining options which gives our guests the variety they look for. As a Customer Service Representative, you are key to the success of our quick service restaurant as you are responsible for providing friendly, accurate and efficient service to our guests so that we are returning every traveler to the road better than they came!
In this role, you can expect to :
- Work in a fun, trusting environment focused on great customer service
- Serve each customer courteously, quickly and efficiently with a sincere, positive, pleasant and enthusiastic attitude
- Embody a professional demeanor and a high level of character, honesty and integrity in conducting the business affairs of the restaurant; Inspire all team members to do the same
- Cash all types of checks for guests within the specified guidelines; Record all checks cashed in the specified computer system
- Conduct both Marker and Front Money transactions on guest accounts
- Redeem chips / tokens, TITO (ticket in ticket out) and Race and Sports tickets for guests
- Redeem all acceptable types of foreign currencies
- Process transactions of customers on a point-of-sale (POS) register
- Receive and maintains proper cash accountability in cash drawer for shift; Check out the drawer and prepare the shift report properly; Balance bank at end of shift
- Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction
- Establish strong communication and rapport with leaders and co-workers
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Pay Range
14.00 - 15.00 per hour

Typical Physical Demands
In this role, the team member is regularly required to talk and hear. Standing, walking, kneeling, stooping, bending over, crouching, crawling, climbing, and repetitive use of legs are done occasionally.
