What are the responsibilities and job description for the Porter position at Travel Centers of America?
Porters play a key role in serving and delighting our guests. You are the face of our brand and the reason that our guests come back to us time and time again. Responsibilities involve providing friendly and professional service to our guests, cleaning our areas of the business to a high standard and assisting to keep the business tidy and well presented.
Supports the General Manager in developing an exceptional guest experience and a working environment that promotes engagement and living the Company values.
1. Greet all guests in a friendly manner to make them feel welcomed and appreciated.
2. Effectively cleans professional drive showers between uses in a timely manner
3. Maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of the location (inside and out) ensuring all gas and diesel pumps are cleaned and stocked with towels, and windshield solution at all times, and trash is changes as needed.
4. All parking lots areas and walk ways must be cleaned and swept daily to remove debris, this is to provide a consistent guest experience.
5. Other duties as assigned at the discretion of the General Manager.
