We are looking for a highly skilled Mammography Technologist (Mammo Tech) to join our team in Manteca, California for a 13-week assignment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing mammography studies, ensuring image accuracy, and maintaining quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Your primary responsibilities will include confirming patient identification, reviewing imaging requests, explaining procedures to patients, conducting mammography studies, and maintaining quality standards. You will also be expected to interpret doctor's written instructions, develop mammograms, observe results, retake images as required, and forward completed studies to radiologists for interpretation.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must have 1 year of experience, BLS certification, ARRT (M) National Certification with registration in mammography, and state-specific licensing when required. A strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology is also necessary.
