Job Details: This 13-week assignment requires a minimum of 36 hours per week, working 12-hour shifts. The right candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and possess a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
Responsibilities:
- Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests.
- Explain imaging procedures to patients and provide reassurance and support as needed.
- Correctly interpret doctors' written instructions.
- Use computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images.
- Administer radiocontrast agents as necessary.
- Evaluate CT scans to ensure technical quality.
Qualifications:
- ARRT (CT) National Certification.
- BLS certification.
- State-specific licensing when required.
- 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist.
