Job Title: Computed Tomography Technologist
Location: Lamar, Colorado
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 12 hours, nights

As a Computed Tomography Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography equipment and ensuring that images are accurate and passed on to physicians for medical interpretation. You will also be responsible for the preparation of and caring for patients undergoing CT scanning.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests
2. Explain imaging procedures to patients and provide reassurance and support as required
3. Aptly position patients to scan specific areas of their bodies
4. Use computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues
5. Administer radiocontrast agents to patients to enhance the visibility of internal organs and tissues
6. Evaluate CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality
7. Follow safety procedures when working with radiation
8. Maintain accurate patient records
