Responsibilities:
- Operate computed tomography equipment and ensure accurate image capture
- Review imaging requests and confirm patient identification
- Provide clear explanations of imaging procedures to patients and offer support as needed
- Position patients appropriately for scanning specific areas of their bodies
- Evaluate CT scans to assess technical quality and follow safety guidelines when working with radiation
- Utilize the McKesson PACS system to maintain accurate patient records
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist
- BLS certification and ARRT (CT) National Certification with registration in computed tomography
- State-specific licensing when required
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, bend, lean or stoop easily
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
