Job Title: Travel CT Technologist
We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist (CT Tech) for an immediate travel opportunity in Santa Cruz, CA.
About the Job:
- Duration: 13 weeks, 40 hours per week
- Shift: 8 hours, days
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Confirming patient identification and reviewing imaging requests
- Explain imaging procedures to patients and providing reassurance and support as required
- Interpreting doctors' written instructions and positioning patients for CT scanning
- Operating computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of internal organs and tissues
- Evaluating CT scans to determine technical quality and maintaining accurate patient records
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience as a CT Tech
- BLS certification and ARRT (CT) National Certification with registration in computed tomography
- State-specific licensing when required
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean or stoop easily
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology
