Job Description and Requirements
This role is ideal for an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist (CT Tech) with a strong background in computed tomography equipment operation and patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests to ensure accurate diagnosis.
- Position patients appropriately for scanning, using computerized tomography equipment to capture high-quality images of internal organs and tissues.
- Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and administer radiocontrast agents as required.
- Maintain accurate patient records and understand the McKesson PACS system.
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience as a CT Tech.
- BLS certification and ARRT (CT) National Certification with registration in computed tomography.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean or stoop easily.
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
We offer competitive pay packages based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week. Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
