We are seeking a highly skilled Computed Tomography Technologist (CT Tech) for an immediate travel opportunity in Lewiston, Maine.
Job Description:
The ideal candidate will have 1 year of experience and possess strong technical skills, with the ability to accurately capture diagnostic images using computerized tomography equipment.
- Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests
- Explain imaging procedures to patients and provide reassurance as needed
- Position patients correctly for scanning specific areas of their bodies
- Capture high-quality diagnostic images using CT equipment
- Evaluate CT scans for technical quality
- FOLLOW safety procedures when working with radiation
- Maintain accurate patient records
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience as a CT Tech
- ARRT (CT) National Certification with registration in computed tomography
- BLS certification
Key Skills:
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Able to bend, lean, or stoop easily
Additional Information:
