Job Title: Travel CT Technologist
We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist (CT Tech) for an immediate travel opportunity in Newton, Massachusetts.
About the Job:
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Hours per week: 36
- Shift: 12 hours, days
The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience and possess excellent patient care skills. As a CT Tech, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography equipment, ensuring accurate images, and preparing patients for scans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests
- Explain imaging procedures to patients and provide reassurance as needed
- Capture diagnostic images of internal organs and tissues using computerized tomography equipment
- Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and accuracy
- FOLLOW safety procedures when working with radiation
Requirements:
- ARRT (CT) National Certification with registration in computed tomography
- BLS certification
- State-specific licensing when required
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop easily
